China's Guangxi Huasheng to complete alumina project by end-2024

China's Guangxi Huasheng New Materials Co. Ltd. expected to complete its 2-million-ton alumina project by December 20 this year.
The project, covering an area of 19,928 square meters, cost an investment of approximately CNY 4.2 billion. The construction of this project started in October 2023.
Upon completion, the total production capacity could reach 4 million tons per year. The project was expected to drive the development of the aluminum industry and related industries in Fangchenggang City, leading to high-quality development of the aluminum industry in Guangxi.
