China's iron ore production declines in Jan-Apr

According to statistics released by the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) of China, China's iron ore production totaled around 328.6 million tons in the first four months of this year, decreasing by 12.2% compared to the corresponding period a year ago.

In April, production fell by 4.9% year on year, reaching 84.7 million tons.

In the January-April period, China's iron ore imports fell by 5.5% year on year to 388 million tons. The imported price fluctuated in April, first falling and then rebounding, and finally maintaining within a limited range.
