Citi Research pointed out in its latest report that aluminum price was expected to rise back to US$2,500/ton in the next three months. The price projection was slightly lower than the US$2,550/ton predicted before, but Citi Research was still optimistic about short-term aluminum price trends.

Citi Research adjusted its aluminum price forecast based on the current global economic recovery condition, the balance of supply and demand in the aluminum market, as well as production costs.
