Colombia launches AD investigation on China’s extruded aluminum profiles

On December 14, 2023, the Colombian Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Tourism (MCIT) announced the launch of an anti-dumping (AD) investigation on extruded aluminum profiles originating in China, based on the application filed by petitioners Alumina S.A and Aluica S.A.S, to determine whether there are impacts caused by alleged dumping in imports of extruded aluminum profiles from China on the domestic industry.

The products involved in this case are classified under tariff codes 7604.21.00.00, 7604.29.10.00, 7604.29.20.00, and 7608.20.00.00.
