Colombia's coal exports hike in Jul

According to statistics from Colombia's National Administrative Department of Statistics, the country’s coal exports totaled around 7.2 million tons in July this year, hiking by 45.5% compared to the previous month and also rising by 14.5% from the same month a year ago.

During the period, the export value was US$1.8 billion, a month-on-month increase of 19.8% and a year-on-year surge of 330%.

In the first seven months of this year, Colombia exported around 37 million tons of coal, increasing by 9.1% year on year. These exports were worth approximately US$7.1 billion during the period, a year-on-year surge of 189%.
