Colombia's steel products export increase in Jan-Apr

According to the Departamento Administrativo Nacional de Estadística (DANE), Colombia exported roughly 82,000 tons of steel products from January to April, rising by 20.6% from the same period a year ago. The export value was around US$233 million, dropping by 24.3% yearly.

In April, Colombia exported about 27,000 tons of steel products, skyrocketing by 121.3% yearly, and the value was hiking by 34.9% yearly to approximately US$81 million.

Besides, Colombia exported around 48,400 tons of ferronickel in the first four months of 2024, increasing by 9.3% yearly.
