Crude steel production increases

In the week ended July 10, the production of US’ crude steel totaled around 1.85 million short tons, hiking by 0.5% from the same period a week ago and also rising by 37.2% compared to the same period a year earlier. The capacity utilization rate was 83.6%, increasing by 0.6% week on week and also going up by 23.3% year on year.

As of the week ended July 10, the production of US’ crude steel has amounted to around 48.75 million short tons this year, a year-on-year increase of 16.7%. The capacity utilization rate was 79.2%, a year-on-year hike of 12.5%.
