Developers in NCR threaten to stop construction work as raw material price soars

Real estate developers in Delhi NCR are planning to halt construction work as raw materials costs have increased substantially making the project unviable.
According to developers, cost of steel has gone up by 121% and cement by nearly 38% in the last 2 years due to which the cost of construction has moved up by at least Rs. 500 per sq ft.
