The hot-rolled price in the EU market, according to insiders, currently maintains at a low level. Meanwhile, inquiries are still weak as buyers show limited interest on making purchases at the moment.

Due to weak end-user demand, the market price was hard to climb up while local distributors generally spent more time selling their inventory than before.

Some steel mills even claimed that for deliveries in the first quarter of next year, they would certainly raise the price, yet it seem like that end users won't accept this. Clearly they would prefer to wait till the beginning of the next year.
