European Council passes temporary trade liberalization with Ukraine

According to a press release on May 24, 2022, the European Council adopted a temporary trade liberalization and other trade concessions regarding certain imports from Ukraine, which means that all import tariffs on Ukrainian exported goods to the EU will be suspended for one year.

Besides, the anti-dumping (AD) duties and the application of the common rules on imports from Ukraine will be suspended for a period of one year as well.

These measures imposed by the EU could greatly support Ukraine's economy.
