Europe’s alumina output slides in Apr

According to statistics released by the International Aluminum Institute (IAI), the production of alumina from Europe (including Russia) totaled 683,000 tons in April this year, down by 11.2% compared to the previous month.

In the first four months of this year, Europe’s alumina output, including Russia’s, amounted to approximately 3.11 million tons, a year-on-year decrease of 8.84%.

During the period, global alumina production was around 44.2 million tons, sliding by 3% year on year.
