Fujian Tsingtuo Special Steel announced the successful hot trial of its globally pioneering integrated stainless steel plate production line. The hot rolling-hot charging-hot annealing-online finishing-online surface treatment process fills a gap in China's conventional medium-to-heavy plate market for thin and wide stainless steel.

On June 22, the first slab smoothly passed through China's first 3500mm stainless steel steckel mill, featuring a maximum rolling force of 90,000 kN and a speed of 8.0 m/s, achieving a significant breakthrough in high-end stainless steel manufacturing.

This CNY 3.5 billion project has an annual production capacity of 1 million tons and was completed in a record 16 months. The three-hot integration continuous production process, featuring fully intelligent equipment, eliminates traditional cooling and reheating, saving about 30% in heat energy and cutting logistics costs.

After full production, it is expected to generate more than CNY 12 billion in annual output value and create 800 jobs.
