Global alumina output rises by 4% in Jul

According to data from the International Aluminium Institute (IAI), global alumina production totaled 12.952 million tons in July, rising by 4% from 12.447 million tons in the previous month.

Among them, production from China accounted for the largest proportion, with an estimated output of 7.75 million tons, followed by Oceania with 1.478 million tons and Africa and Asia (excluding China) with 1.264 million tons.

In the given period, chemical alumina output reached 819,000 tons, up from 729,000 tons in the preceding month; metallurgical alumina output was 12.133 million tons, rising from 11.718 million tons in June.
