According to statistics released by the International Aluminum Institute (IAI), global alumina production totaled 12.209 million tons in November last year, falling by 3.4% from the figure in the previous month.
The daily average production in November was 407,000 tons, slightly dropping by 0.15% compared to October.
In the given month, the estimated alumina production in China was 7.15 million tons, and the output in Africa and Asia, excluding China, was 1.164 million tons. Alumina production in Oceania was 1.473 million tons.
