In October 2024, global primary aluminum production rebounded and hit a record high.

According to data from the International Aluminium Institute (IAI), global output in October reached 6.22 million tons, a month-on-month increase of 3.56% and a year-on-year increase of 1.27%. The average daily output increased to a nigh new of 200,700 tons, exceeding the 198,200 tons in the same period last year.

In the first ten months of this year, total global primary aluminum production reached around 60.47 million tons, a year-on-year increase of 2.84%, indicating the continued recovery of the aluminum industry and strong market demand.

As an important lightweight metal, aluminum is widely used in aerospace, automobiles, construction, and other fields, which has promoted an increase in production and assisted the upgrading and development of related industries.
