Global primary aluminum production grows in Jan

According to statistics from the International Aluminum Institute (IAI), global primary aluminum production totaled 6.039 million tons in January, slightly falling by 0.05% compared to the previous month and rising by 2.4% from the same month a year ago.
In January, the global average daily output of primary aluminum was 194,800 tons, compared to 194,900 tons in the previous month.
The estimated output of China's primary aluminum was 3.562 million tons in January, compared to the revised output of 3.565 million tons in December last year.
