Global primary aluminum production grows in Nov

According to statistics released by the International Aluminum Institute (IAI), global primary aluminum production amounted to 5.611 million tons in November this year, falling by 3.2% compared to the revised figure in the previous month and rising by 3.8% from the same month a year earlier.

The daily output of primary aluminum in November averaged 187,000 tons, compared to the revised output of 187,000 tons in October.

In November, China, the largest aluminum producer and consumer in the world, produced 3.31 million tons of primary aluminum, down by 3.2% month on month.
