Goldman Sachs raises aluminum price forecast for 2023-2025

Goldman Sachs Group, a financial services firm, expected the LME aluminum price to average at US$3,125/ton in 2023, compared to the previous forecast of US$2,563/ton. The price was forecasted to rise to US$3,750/ton within 12 months.

The primary aluminum market was expected to return to a significant global deficit from the end of the first quarter of this year.

Besides, Goldman Sachs forecasted that the aluminum price will be US$4,500/ton for 2024 and US$5,000/ton for 2025.
