Norwegian aluminum producer Norsk Hydro has signed an agreement to acquire Hueck, a German producer of aluminum door, window, and façade systems and extruded aluminum profiles.

The acquisition would increase Hydro's presence in Germany and other European markets and create a solid platform for further development of the combined business.

The transaction has a total value of EUR 60.3 million, with adjustments for net debt and normalized working capital at closing.

The completion of this deal would still need to be approved by German and Austrian competition authorities, and it was expected to be completed by the end of the first quarter of 2023.
