Hydro invests money to expand capacity at aluminum extrusion plant in Austria

Hydro announced it will invest EUR 45 million in its aluminum extrusion plant in Nenzing, Austria. The fourth extrusion line will be added and the processing capacity will be increased by 30% as well, creating more local job opportunities.

The construction work was scheduled to begin in early 2022, and the new extrusion line will be put into operations in spring 2023.

The new production capacity brought from the expansion plan will meet the growing demand in this region.
