On November 13, South Korea’s Hyundai Motor Company and Indonesia’s PT Adaro Minerals Indonesia Tbk signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on the production and supply of aluminum, securing a stable supply amid the growing demand for aluminum in the automobile manufacturing industry.

Under the agreement, Hyundai Motor will purchase aluminum produced by Adaro and closely cooperate in aluminum specifications and manufacturing processes. Adaro will support Hyundai Motor with its aluminum supply and will consider providing low-carbon aluminum to the automotive company in particular.
