According to customs data, China's aluminium extrusion (HS codes 76041010, 76041090, 76042100, 76.0429 million, and 76.043 million) exports reached 70,800 tonnes in April 2025, down 18.39 per cent Y-o-Y and slightly down 1.47 per cent M-o-M.

Observing the regional distribution of exports, Guangdong continued to maintain an absolute leading position, accounting for 50.67 per cent of monthly exports, with Shandong (11.96 per cent) and Jiangsu (6.90 per cent) ranking second and third, respectively. Notably, according to an SMM survey, some enterprises in Shandong reported increased orders for integrated export projects in cooperation with Middle Eastern developers during the month, effectively supporting exports of building materials.

The pattern of export destinations in April remained stable, with Southeast Asia remaining the core market. Vietnam retained the top position with a 7.60 per cent share, followed by Malaysia (7.25 per cent) and Nigeria (5.76 per cent). With the signing of a new round of export orders by export enterprises in April, enterprises in Shandong and South China are focusing on expanding into emerging markets with significant potential for building material demand, such as South America, Africa, Russia, and Serbia, effectively supporting exports for the month.
