Indian authority approves merger of Tata Group's seven companies

The National Company Law Tribunal in India approved the merger of seven subsidiaries with Tata Steel Limited, which included Tata Steel Long Products Limited (TSLPL), The Tinplate Company of India, Tata Metaliks, TRF, Indian Steel & Wire Products, Tata Steel Mining, and S&T Mining Company. The merger is expected to be completed in the 2023 to 2024 financial year.

As previously reported, the Tata Group board had already approved the merger of these seven metal companies with Tata Steel Limited.
