According to foreign news reports, Jindal Stainless Ltd, India's largest stainless steel producer, expects that Indian stainless steel will grow at a steady rate of 8-10%, driven by infrastructure. Meanwhile, export markets to the United States and Europe are "slowly recovering."

Moreover, in terms of the impact of the European scrap duty on JSL, Abhyuday Jindal, the company's managing director, said that the company has reduced its imports from Europe. Although there are still some imports of high-value or high-nickel-containing scrap steel currently, most of them (about 90%) come from India and neighboring countries in Asia or the Middle East.
