Indonesia extends AD measure on tinplate products from 3 countries

On October 4, 2024, the Indonesian Ministry of Finance announced its decision to continue imposing anti-dumping (AD) duties on tinplate coil/ sheet from China, Taiwan, and South Korea for another five years.

The AD duty rate for China is 6.1% to 7.4%, and Taiwan is subject to a duty rate of 4.4%. South Korea received a duty rate in a range from 4.4% to 7.9%.

The measures took effect on October 18, 2024, and will be valid until October 17, 2029.

The products involved are flat-rolled iron or non-alloy steel plated or coated with tin, with a thickness of less than 0.5 mm and a width of 600 mm or more, classified under HS codes 7210.12.10 and 7210.12.90.
