Turkish authorities have completed the anti-dumping (AD) investigations on imported cold-rolled stainless steel flat steel products originating from China and Indonesia.

The investigation, covering the period from January 1, 2021, to December 31, 2023, was launched in June 2024 based on an application filed by POSCO Assan TST Celik San. A.S. and was supported by Trinox Metal San. ve Tic. A.S.

It concluded that Indonesian imports showed negligible dumping margins, while Chinese products faced calculated dumping margins between 3.95% and 13.47%.

Indonesian stainless steel may show up on the Turkish market again and has a potential collateral impact on European markets.
