International crude oil prices slide on Jul 29

International crude oil prices fell on July 29 due to market concerns regarding the strength of global demand. Investors are closely monitoring the upcoming meeting of the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries and its allies (OPEC+) for supply.

West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude for September delivery decreased by US$1.35 (1.8%), reaching US$75.81/barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange. Brent crude for September delivery fell by US$1.35 (1.7%), settling at US$79.78/barrel.
