Iranian aluminum ingot production rises in first 2 months of Iranian year

According to statistics from Iranian Mines & Mining Industries Development & Renovation (IMIDRO), Iran produced around 60,700 tons of aluminum ingot in the first two months of the current Iranian calendar year (March 20th-May 19th), rising by 47% compared to the same period a year ago.

In the second month of the Iranian year (April 20th-May 19th), the production of aluminum ingot reached around 30,600 tons, a year-on-year increase of 46.9%.

Iran planned to raise its aluminum ingot production by 63% by the end of this Iranian year (March 20th, 2021).
