Japan's stainless steel exports drop in Apr

According to data from the Japanese Ministry of Finance, the country's stainless steel exports in April decreased by 4.2% to around 58,713 tons month on month.

The total export value of stainless steel products in December was roughly US$313 million. The country’s exports of stainless steel products to China, Thailand, and Taiwan decreased by 23.5%, 24% and 19.9% month on month respectively.

However, the exports to the US increased by 24.9% in April compared to the previous month.
