Japan’s UACJ Corp. to invest in new equipment for US’ subsidiary

UACJ Corporation, a major manufacturer and retailer of aluminum products in Japan, announced that it has planned to invest approximately 3.6 billion yen to introduce new manufacturing equipment for two factories under its US subsidiary UACJ Automotive Whitehall Industries, Inc. so as to fulfill the strong demand for aluminum automotive components.

The new equipment will be used to produce automotive components, such as front and rear bumpers, structural members, and so on. The operation of the equipment was scheduled to be started this July.
