Jiangsu Dingsheng to acquire Slim Aluminium assets

Jiangsu Dingsheng New Materials Joint-Stock Co., Ltd., an aluminum processor in China, announced that the company will acquire Italy’s Slim Aluminium, owned by Rolling Mills International Holding GmbH and Rolling Mills International GmbH, including Germany’s Slim Merseburg GmbH and Italy’s Slim Aluminium assets, for EUR 56.3 million.

The total production capacity of the two plants is approximately 135,000 tons, including aluminum sheets and foils. After the acquisition, Jiangsu Dingsheng will expand its aluminum processing portfolio in Europe to hot and cold rolling as well as foil rolling.
