JISCO successfully trial-produces high-aluminum lightweight stainless steel

Recently, the high-aluminum lightweight stainless steel new material developed by the Stainless Steel Research Institute of Hongxing Co., Ltd. was successfully rolled off, which meant that JISCO has made a breakthrough in manufacturing high-aluminum lightweight stainless steel.
As a new kind of material, the high-aluminum lightweight stainless steel can reduce specific gravity and improve performance through adding an appropriate amount of aluminum. It will be widely used in the fields of automobiles, aerospace, high-speed trains, etc.
Compared with stainless steel 304 and 430, the high-aluminum lightweight stainless steel has significantly better performance on reducing density and achieving the lightweight goal.
