Lebanon’s aluminium scrap exports to increase by 31.86% in 2020

According to statistics, Lebanon exported around 6,300 tons of aluminum scrap in 2017, the export volume hiked by 237.95% year on year to roughly 21,400 tons in 2018, while the figure in 2019 was down by 13.8% year on year to 18,400 tons, and it was predicted the export quantity in 2020 will go up by 31.86% year on year to around 24,300 tons.

Lebanon exported roughly 46,100 tons of aluminum scrap from 2017 to 2019, and plus the quantity of 2020, the export volume will reach around 70,400 tons from 2017 to 2020.

Lebanon mainly exports its aluminum scrap to Belgium, Greece, Italy, India, the Netherlands, South Korea, Turkey, the UK, etc.
