LME benchmark aluminium price gains US$28/t with Y-o-Y drop of 1.09%; SHFE aluminium price rises 2.24%

The LME aluminium live price chart on October 19 witnessed heightening aluminium price trends, with the LME aluminium cash bid price and the LME aluminium official price rising by US$28 per tonne or 1.3 per cent to officially close at US$2,176 per tonne and US$2,176.50 per tonne.

 

If the aluminium price on October 18, last year, is considered, we can calculate a Year-on-Year drop of US$24 per tonne or 1.09 per cent. 

London Metal Exchange graph displayed that the 3-month bid price and the 3-month offer price have gathered US$15 per tonne or 0.69 per cent to stop at US$2,185 per tonne and US$2,185.50 per tonne.

The December 24 bid price and the December 24 offer price have soared by US$13 per tonne or 0.56 per cent, settling at US$2,310 per tonne and US$2,315 per tonne.

LME aluminium opening stock recorded a substantial hike of 8,175 tonnes or 1.69 per cent, arriving at 492,775 tonnes. Live warrants stood at 203,525 tonnes, while Cancelled warrants halted at 289,250 tonnes.

LME aluminium 3-month Asian Reference Price stopped at US$2,185.50 per tonne, up US$14 per tonne or 0.64 per cent.
