Madagascar's Esama Minerals seeks partner to invest in bauxite project

Esama Minerals, a Madagascar's bauxite producer, is looking for a partner to develop a bauxite project in Madagascar with proven reserves of about 150 million tons.

The company had finished the exploration of the mineral five years ago and will invest around US$50 million to develop this project, including the construction of ports and roads.

The mine is located in southeastern Madagascar and was expected to produce bauxite Al2O3 42%min SiO2 2%max, with a planned annual capacity of 1 million tons.
