Marcegaglia UK includes new stainless steel tube production at Oldbury facility

Marcegaglia UK has expanded its Oldbury site to include the production of electro-welded stainless steel tubes, complementing its existing carbon steel tube production. This expansion reinforced the company’s range of high-quality steel products for various applications, such as the food and dairy industry, heat exchangers and oil and gas applications, construction, and automotive uses.
The Oldbury facility now mainly produces grade 304 stainless steel tubes, adhering to EN10296-2 and ASTM A544 standards.
Spanning 69,000 square meters, the facility has four production lines for carbon steel tubes and three for stainless steel tubes, increasing the total capacity to 100,000 tons.
The company’s products meet the highest quality standards through rigorous testing. The expansion this time also made Marcegaglia UK become a new member of the British Stainless Steel Association (BSSA).
