Nanshan Aluminium’s Indonesian alumina project to be constructed in 2 phases

Nanshan Aluminum said on October 22 that the company’s Indonesian alumina project has a planned production capacity of 2 million tons, which will be constructed in two phases.

The first phase of 1 million tons was put into production this May and the production was reached in September. The total production for this year was expected to be 400,000 to 450,000 tons.

The construction of the second phase of 1 million tons is being accelerated, with expected completion in the first half of 2022.
