Japan’s Nippon Steel has announced its first delivery of NSCarbolex Neutral duplex stainless pipes to HH Stainless Pte Ltd, a major stainless steel distributor in Singapore, serving the petrochemical, construction, and marine sectors. This collaboration is a significant step toward sustainable steel distribution in the Asia-Pacific region.
NSCarbolex Neutral is Nippon Steel's Green Transformation Steel, which uses a mass balance approach to incorporate a portion of the company's greenhouse gas emission savings, including CO2, into its products. This allows customers to procure materials with a lower carbon footprint.
The partnership supports both companies' commitment to reducing CO2 emissions.
