Outokumpu hikes stainless steel surcharge for Apr on surging nickel prices

Outokumpu, a leading stainless steel manufacturer in Europe, greatly raised its surcharge of stainless steel for April due to a surge in nickel prices, which was the third month for the upward price adjustment.

Among them, the surcharge for grade 304 was hiked to EUR 3,251/ton, EUR 591 higher than the previous month. The 316 surcharge was up by EUR 788 to EUR 4,783/ton for April, and the surcharge for grade 430 was raised by EUR 76 to EUR 1,186/ton.
