Polestar to cooperate with Norsk Hydro to manufacture climate-neutral vehicles

In order to manufacture truly climate-neutral vehicles by 2030 through the collaboration from suppliers to retailers, Swedish electric car maker Polestar recently delcared its cooperation with Norsk Hydro.

Norsk Hydro's commitment to low-carbon aluminum and its active use of renewable energy sources such as hydro, wind, and solar can help Polestar greatly reduce its greenhouse gas emissions from its production and use of vehicles.

Norsk Hydro planned to achieve net-zero emissions from its aluminum production by 2030. The company will work together with Polestar to explore the most suitable aluminum production ways to supply qualified raw material to Polestar. Efforts will also be made to solve the problem of car recycling after the scrapping.
