Press Metal expanding aluminum extrusion capacity to meet growing demand for solar frames

Press Metal Aluminium Holdings Berhad, a Malaysia-based aluminum producer, is working to expand the extrusion capacity of its plant in Klang, Selangor, Malaysia, in order to meet the growing demand for solar frames.

The newly added capacity would be 30,000 tons per year, and the production was expected to start by the second half of this year.

Press Metal owns two extrusion plants, one is in Klang, with an annual production capacity of 50,000 tons, and the other is in Foshan, China, with an annual capacity of 160,000 tons.
