Qatar Industrial Manufacturing Company (QIMC) has increased its ownership in Qatar Aluminum Extrusion Company (QALEX) to 52% after purchasing a 7% stake from Qatar Oman Investment Company (QOIC).

Announced on the Qatar Stock Exchange, the transaction is part of QOIC's broader strategy to divest from some of its investments. The company aims to re-allocate funds into new opportunities that align with its long-term investment goals.

This acquisition expands QIMC's portfolio, which includes stakes in 20 industrial ventures across various sectors such as petrochemicals, construction materials, and food products.
