Russian stainless steel product imports increase in May

According to reports, Russia imported around 33,000 tons of stainless steel products in May, increasing by 9.4% from the same period a year ago while sliding by 10.9% from 37,000 in the previous month.
Among them, the import volume of the hot-rolled flats rose by 29.4%, the welded pipe went up by 19%, and the seamless pipe increased by 15.5% year on year. But the import volume of cold-rolled flats went down by 19.8%, the longs dropped by 37.6%, and the welded wire fell by 25.1% year on year.
