Russia’s stainless steel production keeps stable in Jul from previous month

According to statistics from the Russian Federal State Statistics Service (Rosstat), Russia’s stainless steel production totaled around 18,700 tons in July this year, basically keeping stable compared to the volume in the preceding month but falling by 3.4% from the year-ago output.

In the first seven months of this year, Russia produced a total of approximately 147,000 tons of stainless steel, hiking by 22.5% compared to the same period a year earlier.

In 2021, Russia’s stainless steel output amounted to 214,000 tons, a year-on-year increase of nearly 5%.
