According to data from the Korea Iron and Steel Association, in 2024, South Korea imported a total of 388,000 tons of cold-rolled stainless steel, growing by 12% from 2023.
Among them, 108,000 tons were imported from China, an increase of 20.8% year-on-year. 100,000 tons were imported from Vietnam, up by 12.3% year-on-year. 42,400 tons were imported from Indonesia with an increase of 13.9% year-on-year. Besides, 42,000 tons were imported from Taiwan, significantly rising by 42% compared to the previous year.
