Spectro Alloys, a recycling company in Minnesota, planned an investment of US$71 million for the expansion of its facilities in Rosemount.

The new plant, covering an area of 90,000 square feet, will increase the production capacity by 120 million pounds per year, which will meet the growing demand for recycled aluminum products. With the additional area, the total campus size will be increased to 42 acres.

The facility will use automation and state-of-the-art equipment, with the latest pollution control technology.

The expansion project was scheduled to start in 2024, and the new facility will be put into operation in 2025.
