In order to increase its aluminum sort and melt capabilities, Spectro Alloys Corp., the Twin Cities aluminum recycler, planned to invest about US$76.8 million to build new facilities at its aluminum recycling plant in Rosemount.

The construction of this project would be started next year and was expected to be commissioned in the year 2025.

After the construction, Spectro’s capacity for casting scrap aluminum into aluminum billet and sheet would be greatly improved.
