North American Stainless, Outokumpu, and Cleveland-Cliffs raised their stainless steel prices and alloy surcharges in December, and the US market rebounded for the first time since falling in June.

As of this week, the monthly increase of AISI 304 was 3.09%, 3.03% for AISI 304L, and 3.26% for AISI 316L.

Market participants considered that compared with previous months, actual demand in December has gradually picked up. However, the current situation is somewhat abnormal compared to the market trend in December of previous years.
