The price of stainless cold-rolled steel in the US market rose again this week. Although the market remains on the sidelines, the buying sentiment has improved and is expected to rise in the short term.

Previously, the price of AISI 304 was roughly flat in June, but it has returned to the level of early May, hitting the highest since this year. The main reason was that local mills raised prices twice in a row since July. Buyers purchase mainly based on consumption inventory, and the delivery volume of coil centers has been better than the same period last year.

In addition, the LME nickel price has rebounded to a new high in one and one half month. Meanwhile, the Chinese government's favorable policies have also led to an increase in stainless steel futures prices in the Chinese market.
