Taiwan’s nut exports drop in May

According to statistics, Taiwan exported around 10,200 tons of nuts in May, decreasing by 9.77% compared to the previous month, and also plummeting by 48.56% from the same month a year ago.

Among the top ten export destinations, only the Netherlands, Japan, and China had the month-on-month growth, and the others had reductions compared to April.

The first three major destinations included the US (around 5,100 tons, a month-on-month decrease of 4.14%), the Netherlands (around 1,300 tons, a month-on-month increase of 7.32%), and Germany (around 1,200 tons, a month-on-month reduction of 16.16%).
